Psalm 100
A psalm. For giving grateful praise.
1Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.
2Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.
3Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
4Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.
5For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.
When we live in the Spirit of Praise, the very Holy Spirit is present within us, personally and corporately (all Believers in unity), lifting up Jesus and Praising God. Here in this darkened world we have Brothers and Sisters in some countries who aren't permitted to give him praise and worship in Joy audibly. But one day when Jesus comes, they will shout with Joy unto the Lord. If they should depart from this world, we know they will be instantly ushered in to his presence. Then they will praise his Holy Name as they poor into the gates and enter His courts with praise! How can we who have this freedom now, keep our mouths shut up and our heart, our mind, and our soul quieted within us? Remember the question Jesus was asked from someone in the crowd? It was a question about "What is the greatest commandment to keep so that one may enter heaven. And Jesus said; " The greatest commandment is to, "Worship the Lord thy God with ALL your Heart, with all your Soul, and with ALL your mind, and to love your neighbor as you love yourself". Jesus was stating if we give God our ALL, and truthfully love our neighbors (afar and near) we'd be obeying a the 10 Commandments given to Moses. So when we except Jesus as our Savior and Lord, he comes in like a flood and tunes our God given Heartstrings, to crystal clear audible Praises and Worship, that comes from All our Hearts, Souls, and minds in portion to the abundant Love poured into the deepest parts of our souls! So the next time you meet together in a church, shout out the Praises of Joy and Thanksgiving loudly, because your also shouting and praising out loud for other brothers and sisters on earth who don't have this freedom!
